"I was hesitant installing this fan myself because I did not want any leaks in my roof after the install but I must say that I am happy I decided to borrow a reciprocating saw from a friend and follow the easy to understand instructions that came with the fan. I was amazed by how much cooler the upstairs bedrooms are now since installing this fan. The hotter the sun is, the more this fan blows and I can actually go into my attic during the middle of the day and not sweat after 5 minutes...It really keeps the house very cool during the day."

"I have had this installed for 6 months now, covering the end of winter through some of the hottest days in Texas. My electric bill is a lot cheaper compared to the last few years. I have thermometers in the attic, with cameras pointing at them to tell me the temps, looking at the hottest part of the day. "...The unit was packaged very well and well protected. Installation instructions were very clear with no surprises. From start (unpacking, setup including ladder, cutting hole, installation, caulking and cleanup) to finish took 53 minutes – so less than an hour. I also purchased the optional thermal snap switch & fire safety cutout switch that was not included in the unit price. The two switches plugged into the unit using male/female spade connectors which were already attached - less than a minute to install. All in all - easy installation, the unit started working as soon as I removed the cardboard shield on an overcast day. I would definitely recommend this product."

"I didn't expect much from solar, as it's usually disappointing power-wise. Not this. I took it out of the box at home just for curiosity's sake and it started pulling a ton of air. It spun nicely in the shade but in the sun, it kicked into high gear. It easily exceeded my expectations. . . I believe that these will save me a nice chunk of change on my power bill!. . . "I bought the size larger than was suggested for our square footage. We have 1800' and I bought the unit sized for over 2000. My son and I installed this in about 45 minutes...The fan runs full speed in direct sun then slows down as the shade hits the panel but it keeps running as long as there is light...Inside our house, it’s about 4 degrees cooler, maybe more, which is huge when it’s 100 outside. So glad we bought this. It is very, very quiet. The only way I could tell it was running was by going into the attic and listening. Even then it was whisper quiet but it sure does move the hot air out of my attic.
